New Delhi: A dramatic confrontation unfolded in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, as a woman, enraged by an offensive comment on her Facebook photo, showed up at a young man's house with her husband. The heated exchange quickly escalated into a physical altercation between the two parties, attracting considerable attention in the Lalpur Pandeypur police station area.
The woman, identified as Roshni Kushal Jaiswal, accused Rajesh Singh of repeatedly posting lewd comments on her Facebook posts. What initially started as an online annoyance soon turned into a real-world confrontation when Roshni, along with her husband, decided to confront Rajesh at his residence. Upon arrival, a verbal spat quickly turned into chaos as Roshni began attacking Rajesh. Soon, members of Rajesh's family joined the fray, leading to an all-out brawl between the two groups.
As tempers flared, the situation outside Rajesh’s home became increasingly volatile. According to eyewitness accounts, Roshni and her husband created a scene upon confronting Rajesh. Unable to contain her anger, Roshni reportedly physically assaulted him. The young man’s family tried to intervene, but the conflict only intensified. Allegedly, Roshni also engaged in indecent behavior towards Rajesh's family, further fueling the dispute.
As the commotion escalated, a crowd gathered to witness the dramatic incident. Bystanders attempted to break up the fight, but both parties remained aggressive. Eventually, Roshni and her husband left the scene and went straight to the police station to file a complaint against Rajesh.
In her police complaint, Roshni accused Rajesh of persistently posting inappropriate comments on her Facebook photo for several days. Initially, she tried deleting the comments and even warned him to stop, but the harassment continued. When it became unbearable, she informed her husband, and they decided to confront Rajesh in person. Roshni claimed that upon confronting him, Rajesh and his family assaulted both her and her husband, even threatening them with violence.
On the other hand, Rajesh Singh has filed his own FIR against Roshni. He alleges that Roshni misbehaved with him and his family when she arrived at their house. Rajesh has denied the accusations of making inappropriate comments and instead claims that it was Roshni who instigated the fight.
