New Delhi: A shocking incident has emerged from Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi, where two young girls took the law into their own hands after a man on a Bullet motorcycle allegedly misbehaved with them. The confrontation, which occurred in the Lalpur area of Hukulganj, has drawn significant attention due to its dramatic nature and the subsequent damage to property.

According to media reports, the altercation began on the night of August 30 and extended into August 31. The incident occurred around 1:25 am near the Siddheshwari Mata Temple. The man, who was reportedly engaging in eve-teasing, was confronted by the two girls who were traveling in a car. The girls, infuriated by the man’s behavior, exited their vehicle and started verbally abusing him. The situation quickly escalated as they began to physically assault him, slapping him repeatedly.

The entire confrontation was captured on camera by a passerby, showcasing the girls’ anger and their questioning of the man’s audacity to abuse and touch them. The video has since gone viral, sparking widespread discussion and debate about the girls' response and the broader issue of eve-teasing.

Man flees, leaving motorcycle behind

Unable to endure the girls' wrath, the man abandoned his Bullet motorcycle and fled the scene, disappearing into a dark alley. The girls, however, were not finished. They proceeded to vandalize his motorcycle, kicking it and eventually knocking it over. The destruction of the motorcycle further fueled the ongoing conversation about the incident, drawing mixed reactions from the public.

Similar incident reported in Indore

In a related development, another contentious event occurred recently in Indore. On August 22, a woman named Rishika Argal was booked for obstructing government work after allegedly slapping a municipal worker during an anti-encroachment drive. The incident took place at Meghdoot Chowpatty and was captured in a video that has widely surfaced on social media.

The video depicts Rishika, who operated an artificial jewellry stall, arguing with municipal officials who were clearing illegal stalls obstructing traffic. Despite efforts by locals and workers to de-escalate the situation, Rishika lost her composure and slapped a member of the municipal team. The police have since registered a case against her for obstructing the municipal corporation's work.
