New Delhi: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has temporarily suspended the Yatra registration due to the increasing number of devotees during the Baisakhi festival. Devotees have been informed that the Yatra slips have been stopped due to excessive crowd in Vaishno Devi Bhawan. This decision has been taken keeping in mind security reasons and the convenience of the devotees.
The Yatra registration counter has been closed till 4 am on Monday. Devotees have been informed that they have been advised to stay in Katra during this time period. This step has been taken to ensure the safety of the devotees, so that any kind of chaos or unpleasant situation can be avoided.
The Yatra registration counters will be reopened on Monday at 4:00 am. From that time onwards, devotees will be able to visit Vaishno Devi Bhawan after getting their Yatra slip. During this time, devotees will need to get the Yatra slip from the registration counter along with the RFID card. This arrangement has been made to facilitate the Yatra and control the number of devotees.
Devotees have been made aware regarding the Yatra registration that they should go for the Yatra only after the counter opens. Along with this, they have been advised to stay in Katra during this time. The administration has appealed to all the devotees to follow the registration process and not to travel without a Yatra slip, so that there is no inconvenience in the journey.
