Some devastating visuals have emerged from Gujarat where half a dozen children were injured when a wall of a private school collapsed in Vadodara during lunch break. According to the reports, the incident happened at Shree Narayan Vidyalaya, on Waghodia Road.

As per reports, a student sustained injuries leading to stitches, when the wall of the balcony fell into the parking area reserved for student’s cycle on Friday.

Soon after getting the information about the incident, Vadodara fire and Emergency reached the spot.

Meanwhile, the parents of the wards have also expressed anger over the school management for ignoring such important necessary repairs.

This incident raises questions about the building's safety standards and whether the school had obtained the required safety certificate, which must be renewed annually. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations is crucial to prevent such accidents and protect students. Authorities are likely to investigate if the school adhered to these norms and whether lapses contributed to the incident. The focus now is on the children's recovery and ensuring accountability for maintaining a safe learning environment.
