Vadodara: 15-foot-long crocodile ventures into house of residential colony | WATCH

The locals spotted the aggressive reptile and immediately informed the forest department. Volunteers from the department rushed to the scene and found the crocodile resting at the door of a house. After a careful and challenging hour-long rescue operation, the crocodile was finally rescued by the department.

New Delhi: A shocking incident has come to light from Vadodara, Gujarat, where residents of Kamnath Nagar near Fatehgunj area woke up to a massive surprise on Thursday. A giant 15-foot-long crocodile emerged from the floodwaters and reached a house in the colony, located near the Vishwamitri River. 

The locals spotted the aggressive reptile and immediately informed the forest department. Volunteers from the department rushed to the scene and found the crocodile resting at the door of a house. After a careful and challenging hour-long rescue operation, the crocodile was finally rescued by the department.

Floods bring crocodiles to city

In another incident, an 11-foot-long crocodile was rescued from the Sama area, where it was spotted swimming in the floodwaters late on Wednesday night. The city received heavy rainfall for two consecutive days, causing floods in the Vishwamitri River, which is home to nearly 300 crocodiles. 

As a result, many of these crocodiles have entered urban localities, causing concern among residents. The forest department is working diligently to rescue and relocate these crocodiles to a safer environment.

Crocodile spotted in Uttar Pradesh

Recently in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor, a crocodile strolling through the village streets of Nangal Soti. According to report, residents of Nangal Soti village found themselves in a state of alarm upon encountering a massive crocodile roaming through their neighborhood lanes.
