New Delhi: A shocking incident unfolded in Sitarganj, Uttarakhand, on September 8 when shop owner Gurendrapal Singh was brutally murdered by his elder brother, Kuldeep Singh, in a violent altercation over a property dispute. The victim, a resident of Udham Singh Nagar district, was attacked with a sword, leading to his death after his throat was slit.
Kuldeep Singh, who had traveled from Faridkot in Punjab with the intent to commit the murder, carried out the gruesome act in broad daylight. According to local reports, the property dispute between the brothers had been simmering for some time, culminating in this horrific crime.
Eyewitnesses report that after the attack, a crowd gathered and severely beat the accused in an attempt to restrain him before authorities arrived. Kuldeep Singh was later handed over to the police, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
