In a significant move to secure the future of Agniveers, the Uttarakhand government is finalizing a robust program to employ them in state police and other government departments. Chief Minister Dhami has instructed officials to prepare proposals for reserving quotas for Agniveers in Uttarakhand Police and other state departments. The Chief Minister also highlighted that the state is ready to make legislative changes, including reservations and potential acts, to facilitate the integration of Agniveers into various departments.

The Sainik Kalyan Vibhag (Soldier Welfare Department) is actively working on preparing these proposals to ensure that every Agniveer is given ample opportunity to secure a stable and prosperous future.
