New Delhi: A shocking incident has emerged from Uttar Pradesh's Banda district, where a minor dispute between children escalated into a violent clash between neighbours, leaving four women severely injured and traumatized. This disturbing event has raised concerns about the escalating violence and lack of community harmony in the region.

Unprovoked attack on women

The incident occurred in Kanshi Ram Colony, Hardouri Ghat, where an argument between children quickly turned into a full-blown brawl. Bhuri Gupta (70), Gauri Gupta (45), Khushi Gupta (18) and Chanchal Gupta (12) were brutally assaulted by their neighbours, who used sticks and rods to inflict severe injuries. The victims alleged that their private parts and eyes were targeted with chili peppers, leaving them in immense pain and distress.

"We were beaten mercilessly with sticks and rods," recounted one of the victims' sisters. "The attackers even encouraged other men to join in and assault us. It was a horrific scene, and we are still trying to come to terms with what happened."
