Crime News: In a shocking turn of events in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur district, a private tutor has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl. The accused, Syed Wasif Ali, is reported to have abused the child during a tuition session at her home.
The incident reportedly occurred on Friday evening when Ali, who was providing tuition to the young girl, is alleged to have stripped her and sexually assaulted her. According to the girl's family, her screams alerted them, and they rushed to the room to find the disturbing scene. The child, in tears, revealed that this was not the first time she had been abused by Ali. She claimed he had threatened to kill her if she ever told anyone about the abuse.
Following the family's complaint, the Rampur Superintendent of Police, Vidyasagar Mishra, confirmed that an FIR was lodged late Friday night. "We have registered a case under the appropriate sections of the law based on the complaint received," Mishra stated. Syed Wasif Ali, a resident of Kunda in Rampur Kotwali, has been taken into custody. The police are actively investigating the case to uncover the full extent of the alleged abuse.
The family has alleged that the abuse was ongoing and that the victim had been subjected to repeated assaults by Ali. This case has highlighted serious concerns about the safety of children in private educational settings and the need for stringent measures to protect them from such predatory behavior.
