Viral Video: In a deeply unsettling incident from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, a video has surfaced showing stray dogs tearing apart a human corpse. This horrifying scene occurred at the post-mortem house of Maharani Laxmibai Medical College. The video has quickly gone viral.
Alarming Response from Authorities
According to reports, when approached about the incident, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the district claimed that the body in question belonged to a dog, not a human, and dismissed the matter by stating that an investigation was underway. This response has raised serious questions, as it seems implausible for a dog's body to be in a mortuary meant for human post-mortems.
The video was shared on the social media platform X by a user named @SachinGuptaUP. The post-mortem house and Jhansi Medical College have been criticized for negligence in the past, and this incident has only added to their notorious reputation. The video, reportedly filmed on July 2, shows a body wrapped in polythene lying on the ground under the open sky, with two stray dogs nearby. The dogs are seen scratching and tearing at the body, while two boxes meant for storing corpses are placed nearby.

pic.twitter.com/Aiep71tdrR
