Despite their attempts to seek justice by reporting the incident to the police, their complaints were reportedly ignored.

The uncle expressed frustration over the lack of action from law enforcement, saying, "When we went to the police station to file a complaint, our complaint wasn't registered."

Circle Officer Pradeep Kumar Tripathi confirmed that a case has been registered in connection with the boy's suicide. He stated, "A boy died by suicide, and a case has been registered in PS Kaptanganj. A case has been registered in the relevant sections... The reason is suspected to be mutual differences." However, this statement has not alleviated the family's concerns regarding police negligence.

The family's account indicates that the boy disclosed his traumatic experience only after returning home late from the party. His uncle noted, "The incident occurred on December 20, but we learned about it the next day." Despite their efforts to alert authorities about the harassment he faced, they were met with indifference for three days. Tragically, this lack of support contributed to the boy's decision to take his life.
