In an advisory, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday asked the students to use Delhi Metro services to reach the examination centers for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations. The board exams are scheduled to be conducted from February 15 (Thursday) to March 13. In addition to this, the board has also urged students to leave early to avoid any unwarranted delay.

The advisory has come after amid the farmer’s protest across Delhi-NCR and borders adjoining Haryana and Punjab. Additionally, the letter states that students will only be permitted entry to the examination center if they come by 10 am or earlier. 5,80,192 students in Delhi will take the board exams at 877 locations.

“All CBSE students all over India and other countries are also requested to reach the examination center on or before 10.00 am (IST) keeping in mind the local conditions, traffic, weather conditions, distance, etc... Only those students will be allowed entry who arrive at 10.00,” CBSE advisory reads.

Apart from this, CBSE has also alerted the students not to believe any rumors. Here's what the announcement says

The Board is vigilant and active in identifying and taking action against those spreading fake news and rumors.
