Upset over gifting gold and TV to sister on her wedding, UP woman gets her husband killed

A shocking incident has been reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Barabanki, where a wedding has turned into a nightmare after a 35-year-old, Chandra Prakash Mishra was beaten to death as she was upset over his decision of wanting to gift gold and television to his sister’s wedding. The wedding was scheduled for April 26.

The accused has been identified as Chabi, who got involved in a heated argument with her husband over his decision. According to the reports, she then called her brothers to teach him a lesson. After which they all thrashed him for an hour. Chandra Prakash’s family soon rushed him to the hospital, where he scummed to injuries during the treatment.

According to the information, the police have arrested Chabi and her brothers in connection with the case and have started the investigation. 

A couple of months back, another similar incident was reported from Bengaluru, where angered over not getting an anniversary gift, wife stabbed her husband while he was sleeping beside her. Shocked by the attack, the victim pushed her back before she could further hurt him. He then informed the neighbors and rushed to the hospital for treatment. The police registered a case against her on March 1. The victim informed the police that due to some personal reason, he wasn’t able to buy her a gift.
