UP News: In a deeply troubling case, a 13-year-old girl from the Paschimsharira police station area was allegedly gang-raped after being lured on the pretext of a job. The incident, which occurred on November 15, has sparked widespread outrage and demands for swift justice.Deceptive Job Offer Leads to CrimeThe victims brother reported that the accused coaxed his sister into meeting them in Karari town with false promises of employment. Upon her arrival, the perpetrators confined her in a room overnight, subjecting her to sexual assault.Threatened and Beaten Post-AssaultThe following day, the attackers transported the victim to multiple locations, including Manjhanpur and Dariyapur Chauraha in Karari. They allegedly threatened her with dire consequences if she reported the crime and physically assaulted her to ensure silence. Despite their efforts to keep her captive, the victims family managed to locate and rescue her.Superintendent of Police (SP) Brijesh Srivastava confirmed that a case has been registered against the accused, identified as Ashish Maurya from Para Hasanpur, and another individual. The SP stated, “Action will be taken according to whatever facts emerge after a thorough investigation.”
