Tenant Blackmails and Assaults Army Soldier’s Wife in Baghpat

In a shocking case from Barot Nagar, Baghpat, a woman reported being blackmailed and raped by her tenant. The victim, whose husband serves in the Indian Army and is stationed in Arunachal Pradesh, accused Sachin Kumar, a tenant from Tamelagadhi village, of recording a private video of her bathing and using it to threaten her.

On November 8, Kumar allegedly forced his way into her home, found her alone, and used the video to blackmail her before sexually assaulting her. The victim’s complaint led to a formal case being filed, as confirmed by Kotwali in-charge Inspector Manoj Kumar Chahal. The police have initiated a manhunt to apprehend the accused.
