UP police constable burns wife's skin with iron rod after she fails to fulfill THIS demand

Crime News: In a shocking case from Pakbara area of Moradabad, an Uttar Pradesh Police constable allegedly committed a horrific act of violence against his wife, leading to serious injury. The constable, identified as Vikas alias Vicky, is accused of subjecting his wife to severe torture for dowry, culminating in a brutal assault with an iron rod. 

Victim's family alleges inhuman torture

According to the victim's brother, Vikas had been harassing his wife for dowry since their marriage three years ago. "My brother-in-law demanded a car in dowry, and when we couldn’t fulfill it, he began torturing my sister. He beat her with an iron rod, burned her with it, and even attacked her private parts, causing serious injuries," the brother recounted. The in-laws, including the mother-in-law and father-in-law, are also allegedly involved in the abuse, leaving the victim in a critical condition.

Police take immediate action 

Superintendent of Police (SP) Ranvijay Singh has confirmed that a case has been registered based on the complaint filed by the victim’s brother. While the mother-in-law and father-in-law have been arrested, the primary accused, Vikas, is currently absconding. The police have formed special teams to locate and apprehend him. The victim has undergone a medical examination, and further investigations are underway to ensure justice is served.
