New Delhi: In a heart-wrenching incident, Saurabh Babbar, the owner of Sai Jewelers in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, took his own life along with his wife, Mona Babbar, by jumping into the Ganga River in Haridwar. The couple's tragic decision was driven by overwhelming debt, as revealed in a suicide note discovered after the incident.
Before taking the drastic step, Saurabh reportedly took a selfie at the scene and sent it to his friends on WhatsApp, signaling their final moments. The couple then plunged into the river together. Saurabh’s body has since been recovered, while the search for Mona’s body is ongoing.
