New Delhi: In a shocking turn of events, a BJP leader in Chandausi, Uttar Pradesh, who conspired to frame others in a staged shooting, has been caught in his own trap. Prempal, the leader in question, along with his associates, devised an elaborate plan in which he had a compounder make an incision in his waist and plant bullets to simulate a gunshot wound. Prempal then claimed he was the victim of a deadly attack. Initially, the police were convinced and arrested three individuals based on his accusations. However, discrepancies in the case led authorities to launch a thorough investigation, which uncovered the truth behind the conspiracy.

Prempal's elaborate plot

On July 27th, Prempal reported being shot near Sainik Square, following which the police swiftly arrested three men, Dilip, Hemant, and Shyamlal, residents of Lodhiyan. Prempal’s goal was to frame these individuals, with whom he had an ongoing land dispute. However, upon further scrutiny of CCTV footage and call data records (CDR), the police became suspicious of Prempal’s claims.

Investigation reveals the truth

The investigation revealed that Prempal, along with his accomplices, Amir Ali, Sharafat, Rahul Valmiki, and Jaiveer Singh, had orchestrated the entire plot. In collaboration with a hospital compounder, Prempal got an incision made in his waist and bullets inserted to make it look like a genuine attack. The police later recovered surgical tools, a pistol, and a cartridge shell, which confirmed the fraudulent nature of the incident.

Following the discovery of the truth, the police arrested four of the accused, while Jaiveer Singh remains at large. The three men who were initially jailed have been exonerated due to lack of evidence, and a report has been sent to the court.
