UP: Ambulance crew attempts to rape woman, throws her and ailing husband out, leading to his death

In a shocking incident has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Siddhartha Nagar, where a woman was subjected to an attempted sexual assault by an ambulance driver and his assistant while transporting her ailing husband back home from a hospital in Lucknow. The traumatic ordeal not only endangered the woman but also led to the tragic death of her husband.

According to the sources, the incident occurred while the couple was en route to their home. As per victim, the ambulance driver, Sarju Tiwari, and his assistant, Rishabh Singh, allegedly attempted to sexually assault her during the journey. When the woman bravely resisted their advances, both the driver and the assistant responded with violence. The two men forcibly threw the woman and her critically ill husband out of the moving ambulance.

Tragically, the husband's condition worsened after being abandoned on the roadside, and despite the woman's desperate efforts, he could not be saved. The husband later succumbed to his illness, adding another layer of grief to the horrifying crime.

Lucknow police have taken swift action in response to the incident. Ambulance attendant Rishabh Singh was apprehended and is currently in custody. However, the search for the ambulance driver, Sarju Tiwari, is still ongoing. Authorities have launched a manhunt and are urging anyone with information about Tiwari’s whereabouts to come forward to aid in his capture.

This disturbing incident has sparked outrage in the Siddharth Nagar community and beyond. People are demanding justice for the woman and her late husband, as well as stricter regulations on ambulance services to prevent such heinous crimes in the future.
