New Delhi: A harrowing case of child abuse has emerged from Meerut, where a father has been arrested for allegedly molesting his 9-year-old daughter. The disturbing allegations surfaced after the father, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, subjected his daughter to repeated abuse following the death of his wife.

The young girl, who lost her mother some time ago, had been living with her father and two brothers. According to reports, the father began exploiting his daughter’s vulnerability, engaging in inappropriate behavior and physical assault if she resisted. The girl’s distressing situation came to light when she confided in her maternal uncle.

Accompanied by her uncle, the girl approached the local police station and detailed the abuse she had suffered. The complaint led to a swift investigation, and the accused father has been apprehended. The police confirmed that the case has been taken seriously, with the father now facing charges of molestation and presented before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC).

The SP Rural commented on the case, stating, “The allegations made by the minor have been thoroughly investigated. The father has been arrested, and the matter is under the scrutiny of the Child Welfare Committee.” This case has sparked outrage and concern within the community, highlighting critical issues regarding child safety and the need for robust protective measures.
