The video shows the woman, a 45-year-old beggar residing near the Chimanganj police station, lying on the footpath while the accused, Lokesh, commits the assault. Kotwali police station CSP Omprakash Mishra confirmed that the video prompted an immediate police response. The authorities identified Lokesh through the footage, arrested him, and have since placed him in custody.Video Taker Under InvestigationAdding to the horror, the video capturing the assault was filmed by a bystander who failed to intervene. The police are now investigating the individual who recorded the video and plan to take strict action against them. According to the police, the victim had been living on the streets of Ujjain with her family for the past seven years. The accused lured her with alcohol before committing the rape.
