New Delhi: In a shocking incident in the Salon area of Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, a police constable, dressed in civilian clothes, allegedly assaulted a brother and sister, mistaking them for lovers. The incident, which has sparked outrage, saw the constable not only physically abuse the siblings but also detain them illegally for 24 hours.
According to reports, the constable approached the siblings and, without any investigation, began beating them, falsely accusing them of being in a romantic relationship. Despite the sister’s desperate pleas and attempts to explain their relationship, the constable continued his assault, ignoring their protests.
