In a dramatic turn of events in the high-profile Pune Porshe accident case, the 17-year-old boy, accused of driving the Porshe that collided with a motorbike and killed two people, has now reportedly claimed that his family driver was behind the wheel during the accident. A day earlier, a Pune court had canceled the bail given to him and ordered him to be sent to the Juvenile Centre.

What's new update?

The new update in the case is that the family driver, who was said to be driving the car, was again interrogated by the police on Thursday. The family driver had claimed in his first statement that he was driving the Porsche at the time of the accident. Vishal Aggarwal has also claimed that the driver appointed by him was driving the Porsche.

It has come to light that the luxury car is in the name of a reality firm owned by the Agarwal family, hence the minor's grandfather, who is one of the owners of the firm, was questioned regarding the ownership of the car. He said that a friend of the minor, who was accompanying him in the car, was also questioned to establish and confirm the sequence of events that took place on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.

Police is collecting CCTV footage

The police, while seeking the custody of the minor's father, had told the court on Wednesday that since the teen wanted to drive the car, the driver called the minor's father and informed him about his son's demand and the father told the driver. Told him to let his son drive the car. The officer said that the driver can be produced in the court as a witness in the case. Meanwhile, the police is collecting CCTV footage of the entire route through which the car passed. From the police residence to Kosi Restaurant, then to Black Club and from there to the accident site, checking CCTV to see who was driving the car.
