Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda will release the manifesto for the Tripura Assembly elections today. Elections are due in Tripura on 16 February. According to the information given by the party, today Nadda will go to Tripura and release the partys manifesto for the assembly elections.It is being told that the party has also added some new points to the manifesto. He said, “Many new points have been added in the manifesto which are important for the development of the state. Our party has always thought about the development of the Northeast. His vision is the development of the state and most importantly the youth.According to the information, Nadda has a program to address a public meeting after releasing the manifesto. He will offer prayers at the Tripura Sundari temple in the morning. He will also address a rally after releasing the manifesto.Since coming to power in 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modis government with its Act East policy has given special attention to the north-eastern region. While the Prime Minister himself has made over 50 visits to the region, there is a major focus on developing a safer Northeast.Apart from security and law and order, the main focus of the manifesto for the February 16 election is expected to be on the welfare of the people through infrastructure, development and women. Along with the recognition of indigenous tribes, the welfare of tribals, the development of the Northeast is foremost in the BJPs agenda. In the Northeast region, Assam elected the BJP once in 2016 and then again in 2021 and then Manipur elected a BJP government in 2017 as well as in 2022. The party is confident that they will be able to form the government.
