A shocking incident unfolded in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, as a speeding motorcyclist collided head-on with an e-rickshaw, caught on a disturbing CCTV clip circulating on social media platforms. According to police reports, the accident occurred around 12:40 PM on Saturday when the e-rickshaw abruptly stopped in the middle of a busy road to make a U-turn. The CCTV footage vividly captures the moment of impact, showcasing the chaotic sequence of events leading to the collision.

The CCTV footage shows the speeding biker unable to avoid the e-rickshaw's sudden maneuver, resulting in a forceful collision that caused the motorcycle to overturn and the rider, identified as 21-year-old Akash Singh, suffering severe injuries. Despite immediate efforts by commuters to rush Akash Singh to a nearby hospital, tragically, doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival, underscoring the devastating consequences of the collision.

Legal action against e-rickshaw driver

Following a complaint from the victim's father, a case has been registered against the e-rickshaw driver under relevant legal provisions at the Kidganj police station.
