A 18-year-old medical aspirant allegedly jumped from the ninth floor of a building in Kota, Rajasthan, a day after the NEET UG results were declared, police said on Thursday. Bagisha Tiwari, resided on the fifth floor of a multi-story building with her mother and brother. Allegedly, she took her own life on Wednesday. Despite being swiftly transported to a private hospital, she succumbed to her injuries an hour later.About the incident Originally from the Reva district in Madhya Pradesh, Tiwari had been diligently preparing for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (UG) in Kota, where she attended a coaching institute. Additionally, her brother, currently in the 12th grade, is also gearing up for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE), as informed by Circle Inspector Harinarayan Sharma from Jawahar Nagar Police Station.Tenth suspected suicide case in Kota This tragic incident marks the tenth suspected suicide case of a student in Kota, a renowned coaching hub in India, since the beginning of the year.
