Related incident: Timely intervention saves life

Earlier this month, a separate but equally distressing incident occurred in Secunderabad. A 45-year-old man, identified as Sravan Kumar, attempted suicide by hanging himself at his home. The Gopalapuram Police Station was alerted by an anonymous tip-off about the incident.

Police officers, who were on patrol near Panchavati Lodge, were promptly directed to Kumar’s residence. They forced entry into the home and found Kumar in critical condition, barely conscious. The officers administered CPR on the spot before transporting him to Vijaya Health Services in Secunderabad. Thankfully, Kumar’s condition has stabilized following the emergency intervention.
