Sangareddy, Telangana: In a heartbreaking incident, an under-construction church collapsed in Telangana's Sangareddy district, resulting in one fatality and leaving nine others injured on a fateful Sunday afternoon, as confirmed by local authorities.
The police are still working to confirm the identity of the deceased, adding an air of somber uncertainty to the situation. Of the nine individuals injured, two are reported to be in serious condition, highlighting the severity of the incident that unfolded during centering work on the building within Koheda police station limits.
Sangareddy SP Rupesh provided insights into the incident, stating, "The incident happened at around noon today. One person died in the incident, and one of the injured persons is in serious condition."
He further informed that the remaining eight individuals sustained minor injuries and have been promptly shifted to the hospital for medical attention.
