New Delhi: A disturbing incident has come to light from Odisha where a trader has been accused of being a Bangladeshi. A video of this incident is getting viral and sparks controversy and drawing attention due to allegations of harassment faced by traders from West Bengal. This incident reflect rising regional tensions and have sparked a call for intervention from West Bengal's Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Harassment of Bengali traders
Reports are emerging that traders from West Bengal who traveled to Odisha to sell their goods are being subjected to harassment. According to various videos circulating online, these traders are being insulted and unfairly targeted with accusations of being "Bangladeshis." This unwarranted harassment is reportedly accompanied by threats urging them not to return to Odisha.
