Questioned for 5 hours daily, ED seeks help from Apple to access CM Arvind Kejriwal's phone

In a recent devlopment in Delhi Excise Policy case, Arvind Kejriwal who is in ED custody for over a week now. No, ED have contacted Apple to help gain access to his iPhone, but have been told that a password was necessary for retrieving any data.

 CM has switcheff off his iPhone

The ED has no electronic evidence against the Chief Minister in the form of his personal computer or desktop, but four of his mobile phones were seized. On the night of his arrest on March 21, around Rs 70,000 was found in his residence. Sources said that the Chief Minister has switched off his iPhone and has not even shared his password.

Senior officials associated with the case said that the Chief Minister had said during interrogation that access to his telephone data and chats would give the ED information about AAP's election strategy and pre-poll alliances. The ED is believed to have officially approached Apple, the phone's manufacturers, to gain access to the CM's iPhone, but has been told that the password is required to retrieve any data.

CM is being interrogated for about five hours daily

The Chief Minister has told the ED that this phone has been with him for almost a year and the device which he was using while drafting the liquor policy in 2020-2021 is no longer with him. Senior ED officials said that the CM is being interrogated for about five hours every day.
