New Delhi: A horrifying triple murder case involving a man, identified as Haseen, has shocked the community in Dehradun. Haseen, 36, hailing from Nahtaur in Bijnor district, Uttar Pradesh, stands accused of brutally killing his girlfriend and her two young daughters.How it unfolded The incident came to light when the bodies of the victims were discovered under tragic circumstances near DSP Chowk in Barowala, Dehradun. The victims were identified as Haseens girlfriend Reshma and her daughters, Ayat (15 years old) and an eight-month-old infant. They were found concealed among debris in a dry drain, prompting a swift police investigation.Haseen involved with Reshma Police Superintendent Ajay Singh disclosed that Haseen had been involved in an illicit relationship with Reshma, who had relocated to Dehradun from their village. Allegedly driven by the desire to end their relationship, Haseen lured Reshma and her daughters to his workplace in Barowala on the night of June 23.Strangled Reshma first After bringing them to the factory premises, Haseen strangled Reshma and subsequently suffocated both children, SSP Ajay Singh stated. The bodies were concealed behind the factory, a tragic end to what began as a tumultuous affair.Police investigation into this matterThe investigation gained traction when a bus ticket from Nahtaur to Dehradun, found at the crime scene, linked Haseen to the crime. Subsequent interrogation of factory workers led to his arrest and the recovery of critical evidence.The DGP has lauded the investigative team for their swift action and announced a commendation letter along with a cash prize of Rs 25,000, added CO Anil Joshi. The case, registered by Inspector Kamal Kumar Lunthi of Patel Nagar police station, has sent shockwaves through the community and raised questions about safety and security.Charges of murder Haseen, a married man with children, now faces charges of murder and is in police custody awaiting further legal proceedings.
