Tirupati minor rape: In a deeply distressing event, a young life was brutally cut short in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. A three-year-old girl fell victim to rape and murder by a relative, a 22-year-old man from the same neighborhood.

What actually happened?

The accused, under the guise of offering chocolates, deceived the little girl into accompanying him to a secluded field last Friday. There, he committed the unspeakable acts before ending her life and concealing her body in the same field.

Police responds to the incident

The child's absence was quickly noted by her frantic parents, who, after an exhaustive search, reported her missing to the police. The investigation led to the suspect, who during interrogation, confessed to the crime. Following his confession, authorities apprehended him and the child's remains were sadly recovered.

Official actions and public outcry

The body of the young victim was taken to Puttur Government Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The local MLA, Nagari's Gali Bhanu Prakash, voiced the community's outrage, calling for the sternest possible punishment for the perpetrator.
