New Delhi: In a major development late Thursday night, the Rajasthan government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, announced a substantial reshuffle within the states administrative ranks. More than 100 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers have been transferred, marking a pivotal shift in Rajasthans governance.According to an official notification from the Department of Personnel, a major reshuffle has taken place, transferring 96 IAS officers to new positions. She gained national recognition as the first female topper of the UPSC examination in 2015 and has previously served as the District Collector of Jaisalmer. Her husband, Pradeep Gawande, who was previously stationed in Bikaner, will now take on the role of District Collector in Jalore, a location 156.6 kilometers away from Barmer. She began her administrative career as an Assistant Collector in Ajmer in 2017.
