The Kashag based in Dharamshala reconfirmed its dedication to the middle-way approach outlined by the Dalai Lama as a peaceful and dialogued solution for the China-Tibet conflict. According to the Kashag statement released on Monday that marked the 66th anniversary of Tibetan National Uprising Day the Chinese leadership exhibits a purposeful and dangerous plan to remove Tibetan identity as a separate human race while claiming it supports Chinese national unity.
Officials from the present Chinese government enforce a fundamental Chinese cultural assimilation scheme which causes Tibetans to lose their cultural identity and their fundamental human rights according to the statement. The Middle Way Approach serves as the path for finding a permanent solution to the Sino-Tibet Conflict because it was envisioned by His Holiness according to the statement. This affirmation upholds our belief that Tibetans have continuous possession of the Tibetan plateau through the centuries because they protect their distinct religious lineage along with their cultural heritage and lead the world with the unbeatable Dalai Lama and a strong national identity.
A declaration states that the leadership of Dalai Lama which approaches its ninety-year milestone this year remains irreplaceable so the upcoming year will be designated as the 'Year of Compassion' for fostering his four commitments. These mission commitments which target human value promotion together with global religious harmony and Tibetan religion and culture conservation also focus on the revival of ancient Indian wisdom as the fourth priority according to the Dalai Lama statement. The Kashag emphasized that their collaboration with the Chinese Communist government stems from the wise outlook and eternal sympathy of the Dalai Lama.
