‘This will continue till general polls’: INDIA bloc leaders after ED raids Sanjay Singh’s residence

As the Enforcement Directorate (ED) teams raided AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) MP Sanjay Singh this morning, the INDIA bloc came out in support of him. Similarly, RJD MP Manoj Jha has alleged that this kind of raids will happen till the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

Even, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo reacted to ED raids, saying, “..Nothing will be found at his residence. 2024 elections are coming and they know that they will lose. These are desperate attempts by them. As elections near, all agencies like ED, CBI and will get active.”

INDIA Bloc backs up AAP MP Sanjay Singh over ED raids

Speaking to ANI, Manoj Jha said, “It is sad, but not surprising. Now this series will continue till the election. PM Modi and Amit Shah have made the formal announcement for the 2024 elections. Yesterday, a raid was on NewsClick and all the journalists, today on Sanjay Singh.”

Further, he said, “We know that you will do this, but we want to say one thing the pot is full and it’s about to burst but they have damaged the character of these agencies (ED and CBI).”

AAP leader and Delhi MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj said called all the charges ‘fictitious.’

“This is such a fictitious scam in which investigation is going on for the last 15 months… ED and CBI have conducted raids in at least 1000 places but not even Rs 1 has been recovered from anywhere…They will not get anything at the residence of Sanjay Singh as well…BJP is losing the elections, this is the truth…” Bhardwaj said.

BJP refutes opposition claims & defends ED

However, the BJP has defended the probe agency, saying that agencies were proceeding in the case as per the law. “They have done the work of fooling people. The excise policy scam worth a crore was done at the residence of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. All discussions were done at his residence only” said BJP leader Dushyant Gautam.

Meanwhile, on the ongoing ED raid, Sanjay Singh’s father said that they would cooperate with the probe agency.

“The Department is doing its work, we will cooperate with them. I will wait for the time when he will get clearance,” he said.
