A young man was severely beaten after filing a corruption complaint against a village head on the Chief Minister’s portal. The incident occurred in Bahodapur village, located in the Kadipur development block, where the husband of the village head, along with several goons, launched a brutal attack on the whistleblower.

The shocking assault was captured on video, which has since gone viral on social media. The incident has drawn significant attention due to the brazen nature of the attack, which occurred in front of an investigation team sent by the government.

Corruption complaint leads to violence

The victim, Ram Swaroop Singh, had filed a complaint on Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s portal, alleging financial misconduct by the village head, Anshika Singh. In response to the complaint, the Chief Minister directed the Block Development Officer to form a three-member investigation team. The team was dispatched to Bahodapur village to look into the allegations.

Upon the investigation team’s arrival in the village, the situation quickly escalated. Vir Bahadur Singh, the husband of the village head, along with his brother-in-law Rinku and a group of supporters, viciously attacked Ram Swaroop Singh in broad daylight. The assault took place in full view of the investigation team, further highlighting the audacity of the attackers.
