Eyewitness reveals the ordeal of violence at Kolkata medical college (ANI)

Pronoy Das, a security guard at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, recounted a harrowing scene of destruction during last night’s violence associated with the ‘Reclaim the Night’ event. Das, who was on duty when the incident occurred, described a night of chaos: “Around 1 am last night, when approximately 500-1000 people arrived, we attempted to secure the premises by locking the gates. However, the mob forcefully broke them down. Despite our efforts to secure another gate, it was also breached. We were severely outnumbered, with only 10-12 security personnel and some police officers present. They overwhelmed us, vandalizing the property extensively. The destruction included computers, medicines, and even CCTV cameras,” Das reported.

Autopsy Report Raises Concerns Over Doctor’s Brutal Assault

The brutal rape and murder of a doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital has sparked nationwide outrage. According to one of the recent developments, the senior doctor who reviewed the autopsy report said that the findings suggest multiple penetrations, implying the involvement of more than one assailant in this horrific crime. Dr Subarna Goswami, a former student of the medical college, confirmed that the report indicates the doctor was assaulted repeatedly.

Dr Goswami while speaking to PTI stated, “The autopsy report reveals the extreme brutality the victim suffered. The presence of multiple assailants and repeated sexual assault is evident. This level of violence reflects the worst kind of bestiality.”

Meanwhile, Central Bureau of Investigation has started investigating the case.
