The Septa: AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, who was recently granted bail with certain conditions by the Supreme Court, has made some revelations about his 6-month stint in jail. Let's understand how AAP leader Sanjay Singh spent his 6 months. Singh stated that he remained strong and courageous during his time at Tihar Jail. He mentioned that he refrained from shedding tears even during conversations with his family.

Difficult Initial Days

According to media reports, Sanjay Singh recounted his experiences during the 6 months spent in Tihar. He mentioned that the initial 11 days were quite challenging for him. "I was confined inside a small cell and was not allowed to step out. I was under police security. After that, I spoke to the jail administration and demanded rights similar to a normal prisoner. Permission to go outside for a specific period was granted to me while under police security."

Support from Family

He mentioned the decision to allow access to the music room and badminton court for a specified time. Even matters related to food were given attention. The senior party leader stated that since he did not have a mobile phone, he utilized his time in jail to read books.

Extensive Reading and Learning

Sanjay Singh further revealed that he read books on Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, and Bhagat Singh during the 6-month period. "I read as much in 6 months as I couldn't in 6 years. After spending so many months in Tihar, my morale has increased significantly, which will strengthen my future battles."

Regarding Family Support

Sanjay Singh further mentioned that his wife Anita took care of everything while he was in jail. "My family dealt with courage and determination in my absence, and during such times, I also advised my family to stay strong." 

Sanjay Singh's Family difficulty

He said that it is a difficult situation for any family if they are dealing with such circumstances, but the question is how we can stand strong. "I knew that conversations between inmates and their families are recorded during video conferences."

Sanjay Singh's Time in Jail

AAP leader Sanjay Singh, speaking about his 6-month stint in jail, further said that initially, he was kept in cell number two in jail number 2, but later he was shifted to cell number five. He found this quite strange.
