India strict actions against terror
National News: After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian government has taken a concrete and decisive step against Pakistan. India has given Pakistanis till 29 April to leave India. If a Pakistani citizen is found in India after this scheduled deadline, he will have to face serious consequences. The government has introduced this action as its firm policy against terrorism.
The Government of India has given a clear warning to the Pakistanis that they will have to leave India by 29 April, otherwise they will have to face severe punishment. Any Pakistani citizen who violates this order may have to face a sentence of up to three years, a fine of up to 3 lakh rupees or both. Home Minister Amit Shah has urged all the state governments to take immediate action to strictly implement this order, so that no citizen is allowed to stay in India after the fixed limit.
Following strict instructions from the Government of India, the return of Pakistanis has started. Since April 24, 531 Pakistani citizens have left India and returned to their country. At the same time, 843 Indian citizens have also returned from Pakistan. On Sunday alone 237 Pakistani citizens completed the process of returning to Pakistan from India, while 116 Indian citizens ensured their return from Pakistan.
The Ministry of Home Affairs had given clear instructions to the state governments to ensure that Pakistanis would have to complete the process of leaving India till the stipulated time. SAARC visa holders were ordered to leave India by 26 April, while medical visa holders have been given time till 29 April.
India has firmly implemented this move under its immigration and foreign Act 2025. Under this Act, if a Pakistani citizen violates visa conditions or stays in India for more than the scheduled time, he can be sentenced to three years and a fine of up to three lakh rupees. This shows India's firm policy that it will not tolerate any kind of terrorism or visa violations.
After the Pahalgam attack, India has not only taken strict action, but has also taken concrete steps towards increasing diplomatic pressure against Pakistan on international forums. Now Pakistan has to understand that India will not tolerate terrorism at any cost, and it will also get global support against it.
The Government of India has taken this step to prove that it will not tolerate terrorism and Pakistani citizens living illegally in India. This is not only an important step for India from a security point of view, but was also very important to protect the law and sovereignty of the country.
