The injured woman, identified as Rekha, was promptly taken to the hospital by the driver of the car. Providing insights into the ongoing investigation, Pimpri-Chinchwad Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Shivaji Pawar stated, "In an accident involving a white Wagon R, the victim Rekha sustained injuries yesterday between 3.30-4 pm. She is stable now." The authorities swiftly apprehended the 24-year-old driver responsible for the collision and seized the vehicle as part of the investigation process.
Contrary to initial speculation, the police confirmed that the driver of the car was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
