New Delhi: The Telangana Women’s Commission has taken a firm stance, issuing notices to six of its members after they tied a Rakhi to K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) during his visit to the Commission's office today. The incident, which unfolded while KTR was responding to a summons, has drawn sharp criticism, with many calling it an inappropriate and unprofessional gesture by the members involved.
Sharada Nerella, Chairperson of the Telangana Women’s Commission, voiced her strong disapproval, stressing the need for members to uphold the Commission’s integrity. “As a representative of the Women’s Commission, maintaining neutrality and safeguarding the dignity of the institution is essential. Any actions compromising these values are unacceptable,” Nerella asserted.
