Telangana adopts new state anthem and abbreviation

In a significant move, the Telangana cabinet, led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, has announced changes to the state's official abbreviation and the adoption of a new state anthem. Additionally, the symbolic mother goddess of the state, Telangana Talli, will undergo a reimagination with a new look.

State Anthem: 'Jaya Jaya Ho Telangana'

The state anthem will now be 'Jaya Jaya Ho Telangana,' composed by Andre Sri. This decision replaces the previous state anthem and aims to instill a sense of pride and identity among the residents of Telangana. Abbreviation Change: TS to TG
