A shocking incident has emerged from Gujarat’s Sabarkantha district, where a schoolteacher allegedly raped a 10th-grade student under the pretext of celebrating his birthday. According to reports, the accused lured the girl to a hotel, where he committed the heinous crime.

Teacher used threats to silence victim

The accused teacher reportedly called the student to a hotel on February 7, using his birthday as an excuse. Once there, he sexually assaulted her and later threatened to fail her in board exams if she disclosed the crime to anyone. Fearing repercussions, the girl remained silent initially but eventually confided in her family.

Following the incident, the student has been staying with her paternal aunt, who has two daughters also preparing for their exams. The family has chosen to shield her from unnecessary attention to ensure she remains focused on her studies.

Despite the traumatic experience, the young girl has shown remarkable resilience. Aiming to become a police officer, she continues to concentrate on her education with unwavering determination.
