Tamilisai clarifies all unwarranted speculations on her conversation with Amit Shah

The statement from the former Andhra Pradesh Governor came a day after a video got surfaced on social media of her brief talk with Union Minister Amit Shah, with some speculating that Shah had some serious disagreements with her during swearing-in ceremony of N Chandrababu Naidu.

New Delhi: Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana, recently provided clarification regarding her conversation with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The statement from BJP leader has come a day after a video clip of their serious conversation went viral on social media platforms, where people speculated that Shah had admonished the former Governor. The video surfaced soon after N Chandrababu Naidu was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

While standing on the dais, the two leaders had a brief conversation. The way the conversation was conducted had led to conjecture, with some speculating that Shah had some serious disagreements with the former Governor.

Taking it to her X handle, Tamilisai clarified that Amit Shah asked about post-poll followup and the challenges faced. She added, “As I was eloborating, due to paucity of time with utmost concern he advised to carry out the political and constituency work intensively which was reassuring.” 

She stated that their discussion focused on the welfare of the people of Telangana. Tamilisai emphasized that she is consistently concerned about the well-being of Telangana's residents and aims to continue working positively for their benefit, regardless of the level of support she receives.

Additionally, Tamilisai reaffirmed her commitment to serving the people and clarified that her interactions with BJP leaders have been infrequent.
