Doctor to terrorist: Tehreek-e-Adhikar becomes Tahrir Rana
New Delhi. Tahwwur Rana is a name that is in discussion due to terrorism activities despite being a doctor. Physician (doctor) by profession and Rana, associated with Immigration Business, are accused of managing funding for terrorist organizations such as Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let). His hatred towards India has also become an important part of his identity. Tehwavur Rana's early life is not much public, but his professional life came out as a doctor and entrepreneur. Rana's name is associated with terrorist attacks in Mumbai in 2008, in which 166 people died. Investigation revealed that Rana was a close partner of David Coleman Headley, the mastermind of these attacks. According to reports, Rana came to Mumbai via Dubai before the attack to take stock of the preparations for terrorist activities.
After a long legal battle in America, now the way has been cleared to bring Tahwwur Rana to India. The US Supreme Court has also rejected the application to stop his extradition. Rana will be prosecuted in a safe jail in Mumbai by bringing India, which is likely to reveal many major secrets related to Pakistan's role.
