Extradition of Tahawwur Rana finalized, NIA to question him

Pakistani-Canadian citizen Tahawwur Rana has been convicted in the US on charges of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) support and aiding and abetting the Mumbai attacks. He is now being brought to India, where the NIA will probe the case against him.

Govt appoints Special Public Prosecutor

In the meantime, the government has appointed advocate Narendra Mann as Special Public Prosecutor to represent cases against Tahawwur Rana and David Headley. Though Headley is in a US prison right now, Rana's extradition is regarded as a huge legal step for India.
