26/11 Mastermind Tahawwur Rana Extradited from US, Lands in Delhi on Special Flight

Delhi: Tahawwur Rana, prime suspect in the 2008 Mumbai terror strike, was extradited from the United States to India. He landed in Delhi on a special aircraft with Indian intelligence and investigation officers, under tight security protocols. Rana's flight arrived at Delhi's Palam airport, where a bulletproof convoy vehicle and armed commandos were present. He will be brought to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) headquarters for questioning and subsequently accommodated in Tihar jail.

Rana stands accused of criminal conspiracy, war against India, murder, forgery, and offenses under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
