Suspicious! Half burnt; unconscious female found in Punjab’s Chandigarh; Love affair responsible?

A shocking incident has been reported from Punjab’s Chandigarh where a girl has been found in an unconscious condition in a park. According to the sources, she has been referred to PGI in a serious condition. 

As per the preliminary investigation, police are suspected of love affair crime.

A half-burned female was discovered by police in a park in Chandigarh's Sector 35. This information was given to the police by a passerby. The cops were notified about this by a bystander. When the police arrived at the scene late at night, they took the girl to the government hospital in Sector 16 of Chandigarh. However after looking at her condition, she was referred to PGI, Chandigarh.

The identity of the girl is yet to be identified. Based on information obtained from law enforcement authorities, the girl resides in Mohali's Sohna village. It is also suspicious that she was accompanying a boy.

The police are currently looking into the situation and the case is under investigation.
