UP News: A disturbing case of blackmail and assault against a teacher has emerged in Gorakhpur, where a young man is accused of recording an obscene video of the woman, using it to extort money, and committing multiple instances of assault. According to the police report, the teacher, who lives in Shahpur and teaches at a private school, was allegedly recorded in an inappropriate video by a relative’s son during a visit to his home in 2022. This video, the teacher claims, became the basis for subsequent blackmail and harassment.

Accusations of repeated assault and financial extortion

The accused allegedly blackmailed the teacher, coercing her into meeting him at various hotels in Gorakhpur, where he reportedly assaulted her multiple times. In addition to physical abuse, the teacher claims the man extorted approximately Rs 1,70,000 under the threat of publicizing the video.

The teacher recounted an incident on October 4 when the accused allegedly threatened both her and her daughter with harm if she reported the abuse. On that same day, he allegedly forced her to accompany him to a hotel in the Khorabar area, where he assaulted her again, warning her to stay silent.

Investigation and evidence collection

Following the teacher’s report, local police, along with forensic experts, conducted a detailed examination of a hotel in Ramnagar Kadjahan, where the woman alleged another assault had taken place. Officials collected potential evidence at the scene, which may be used in the ongoing investigation to substantiate the teacher’s claims.

The accused remains under investigation as the police build a case based on the woman’s statement and the forensic evidence gathered. Authorities have ensured a thorough inquiry and emphasized their commitment to ensuring justice for the victim.
