Strong tremors felt in Delhi-NCR as earthquake of magnitude 6.2 hits Nepal

An earthquake of magnitude of 6.2  on the Richter Scale hit Nepal at 14:51:04 IST pm today, as per National Centre for Seismology.

The tremors could be felt in Delhi-NCR as well.

The National Centre for Seismology took to X(Twitter) and wrote “Earthquake of Magnitude:6.2, Occurred on 03-10-2023, 14:51:04 IST, Lat: 29.39 & Long: 81.23, Depth: 5 Km ,Location:Nepal”

The tremors from the earthquake were felt in the national capital, and other parts of the National Capital Region (NCR). Reports suggests that tremors were felt in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow, Hapur and Amroha as well.
